Q:What Does Super 100, 110, 120 and 150’s mean?
A:Woven from the finest wool available, Super 100’s, 120’s, 150’s are ultra-fine yarns, which refers to the fineness of a wool fiber. The higher the number, the finer the fiber woven into the most luxurious feeling fabric available. Does not refer to the actual yarn size that the fabric is woven from, but rather the quality and length of the wool fibers used in making of the yarn. Benefits are a terrific, lustrous hand feel: soft to the touch. Durable, wears well under most conditions and drapes well.
Q:Love the Suit! The jacket fits perfect, but the pant is to LARGE, what do I do?
A:Commonly the difference between the coat size and the pant size has a 6” drop. Example: 42 Regular will come with a 36 waist. Often the question is asked, how much can the slacks be taken in for alterations without ruining the shape of the pant? 3 to 4” inches can be taken in with a normal alteration. If you need more than 4” inches taken in on a pant, a re-cut is required from a good tailor to maintain the pants original shape. (This alteration costs more, but will fit and look like it was made for you.) When buying a suit, remember you can alter the waist but not the chest.
